Richard Moran, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg.

Richard's mom was very proud of him. He was the wind beneath her wings. Richard loved life, and his mom loved him.

CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE MURDER

Richard Moran, 24, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He and some military friends were out on the weekend at a place called the "Temple." Tamacue Walker was also there and thought that Richard was going to run him over. An argument started and Walker pulled a gun from the front of his pants and shot up the car. Richard was sitting in the car. He was shot in the head, his roommate was shot in the hand.

Tamacue Walker was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 10 years in prison. As of February 1997, he remained in prison.
