John Henry Scott, Jr.
"Snoopy"
21 Years Old

April 13, 1974 to September 22, 1995

John "Snoopy" Scott, of Detroit, Michigan, was an only child. He always tried to put himself in the other persons' position and was willing to lend a helping hand.

He loved to play basketball, Sega Game Gear and Super Nintendo. He collected Tonka Trucks, baseball cards and treasured the many gifts and cards he was given by his family and friends who loved him. On the weekends, he loved to get dressed up and go out to dinner with family and friends.

"Snoop" was an HVAC technician: like his dad, he was a master builder. His favorite scripture was Isaiah 65:22, "They will not build and someone else have occupancy. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be, and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full."

Jazz, rhythm and blues, rock and rap were his favorite types of music.

People would often think "Snoop" was a basketball star or a model. He was very handsome. His personality was as pleasing as his looks. A picture of him is truly worth a thousand words.
