Chuck Valle, of Jackson Heights, New York, was a young man with a great deal of potential still untapped. He was a musician and music was his first love. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and then attended the Institute of Audio Research.

He was a kind, gentle, laid-back person who would never harm nor hassle anyone. His smile and quiet dignity will always be missed.

CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE MURDER

Chuck Valle, 29, of Jackson Heights, New York, had gone to Los Angeles, California to tour with a band as their sound engineer. He and friends went out for a hot dog and encountered George Bustillos with two girls. Words were exchanged and Bustillos left. However, he had actually waited in the parking lot and attacked the young men, threatening them with a knife. Bustillos ran after Chuck and stabbed him in the heart.

George Bustillos was convicted of second degree murder and sentenced to 16 years to life in prison. As of March 1997, he was still in prison.
