I’m Free

Don’t Grieve for me, for now I’m Free
I’m following the path God laid for me,
I took His hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ay yes, these things I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now, He set me free.

Nathan James Bauer (Nate) born 11-5-86. Survived by his Mother, Father, brother Brian, dog Sadi, cats Rick and Nails and Dad’s dog Snoop

Nathan was very fun loving with a big sense of humor. Beer Fishing-He loved attaching an empty 12 pack of beer onto a fishing pole, put it outside a bar and when somebody would try to pick it up he would reel it in. Window Tapping-He would tape a quarter onto a fishing line and tape it to a window. He would hide in a leaf pile and pull the string so it would tap on the window and laugh when somebody would come to the door and nobody would be there. He loved making funny faces and taking a casual stroller ride in the winter which he found by a garbage can.

Nathan enjoyed Extreme Sports. In 2006, him and a few friends went to Montana to snowboard the mountains. He loved that. He also was a BMX bike rider, always flying through the air on his bike. He loved fast cars, had to have a turbo. He worked out regularly at Bally’s Total Fitness.

Nathan was employed at Interstate Battery. His favorite color was green. He even had Mom dye his hair green at one point. His favorite food was Jimmy John’s Sub Shop.

He had many friends, too many to name. He was definitely loved and is missed very much by everybody.

Nate was 20 years old when he was stabbed once in the chest by Christopher Solomon, 21, of Menomonee Falls, WI. Chris is out on bail which was reduced from $200,000.00 down to $150,000.00, which his father posted for him. He is GPS monitored and is awaiting trial which begins on January 7, 2008.
